True HEPA Filtration
A completely sealed, true HEPA system, the Guardian Angel removes 99.97% of harmful contaminants as small as 0.3 micron. An integrated air seal prevents air leakage and ensures all air passes through the HEPA filter. The Guardian Angel emits no ozone.
Control Contaminants
Innovative technology called Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO) uses the combination of UV light and titanium dioxide to control contaminants.
Quiet Operation
The superior design of the motor, as well as a sturdy steel construction, provides for quiet operation.
Odor Removal
An activated carbon filter removes odors from the air.
Long Life
The brushless motor provides long life and quiet operation. A metal screen protects the HEPA filter from damage.
Aromatherapy
An essence container for aromatherapy packets is an optional way to freshen the air.
Portability
An easy-to-use built-in handle makes moving the Guardian Angel from room to room a breeze. The removable handle also twists off to reveal a special compartment for dry aromatherapy!
High Efficiency
The Guardian Angel has 3 position control knob for off, low, and high settings. It uses less than 30 watts on high power and is Energy Star Certified.
Extra Protection
A unique feature of the Guardian Angel is a washable clothe pre-filter that fits over the outside of the unit like a sweater, increasing efficiency and prolonging HEPA filter life.
Advanced PCO Technology
After air passes though the pre-filter, carbon and HEPA filters, PCO treats the cleaned air to kill germs and control contaminants.
Five-Stage Filtration
Stage 1: Washable Pre-Filter
The pre-filter prolongs the life of the nEPA filter by removing large particles before they can reach the HEPA filter. Clean the pre-filter when it becomes visibly covered with dust.
Stage 2: Sealed HEPA Filter
High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter is 99.97% efficient at removing particles as small as 0.3 micron from the air.
Stage 3: Carbon Layer
The filter cartridge contains a carbon layer to remove odors and VOCs that off-gas from household cleaners, pains, carpets, furniture and other materials containing chemical substances.
Stage 4: UV Light plus Ti02 Coating
A photocatalytic oxidation reaction occurs when the UV light strikes the titanium dioxide coating on the inside of the filter cartridge to eliminate harmful contaminants in the environment.
Stage 5: Negative Ionization
Lastly, negative ionization occurs which charges particles so they will cluster together, making them easier to remove from the air.
